PSL Irish Festival

Irish Festival 2025

Join the City of Port St. Lucie for a day filled with music, food, culture and camaraderie as we celebrate the rich traditions of Ireland at the Port St. Lucie Irish Festival.

Admission is free, and the festivities kick off with the St. Patrick's Day Parade starting at 3 p.m.

The festival will feature music from performers with roots deep in Celtic traditions.

  • 7:45-9:00 p.m. Screaming Orphans: This chart-topping all-sister Celtic folk and pop band from Donegal, Ireland, is known worldwide for their award-winning sound. Their unique fusion of folk and pop, combined with their trademark spine-tingling harmonies and high-energy performances, promises to take audiences on an exhilarating musical journey.
  • 5:30-7:15 p.m. Rory Makem: With more than 35 years of experience, Rory Makem captivates audiences with his charisma, passion and skilled musicianship. As a masterful interpreter of folk songs, Rory brings the songs of the worker, sailor, lovers, fighters and land to life, accompanied by guitar, banjo, mandolin or bouzouki.
  • 4:00-4:30 p.m. Palm Beach Pipes and Drums: Dedicated to perpetuating Scottish heritage and culture through the playing of bagpipe music, this premier performance pipe band has been a South Florida favorite for 45 years.
  • 4:45-5:15 p.m. Tir Na Greine School of Irish Dance: Tir Na Greine (Pronounced 'tear' 'na' -'gran-ya') is Gaelic for Land of Sunshine. Tir Na Greine has locations in Stuart, Jupiter, West Palm Beach, and Boca Raton. The school continues to grow with students ranging from ages 5+, levels beginner to championship

While the music is playing, there will be other ways to celebrate Irish and Celtic heritages.

  • Savor delicious shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash, corned beef sandwiches and other mouth-watering dishes, along with some of Ireland’s favorite beverages.
  • Experience the allure of highland games, featuring competitive athletic sporting events that celebrate Scottish and Celtic culture such as the caber toss and sheaf toss, among other competitions.
  • There will be a cultural area that highlights Irish sports, famous authors, dogs native to Ireland, as well as Irish musical instruments and symbols.
  • And you can enjoy a variety of other fun activities that will make you feel like you're in Ireland for the day.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable canned goods to support the Treasure Coast Food Bank's efforts in helping the local community.
